Overview

Kanchenjunga (8586m) is the third highest mountain in the world. Kanchenjunga means “five treasures house of the snow” in the Tibetan language. Kanchenjunga is situated in the eastern part of Nepal which is the border line of Nepal and Indian. In this area, most of the people are Limbu, Bhotia, Sherpa and Tibetan who are mostly Buddhist. We see spectacular mountain scenery including close-up view of the breath taking Kanchenjunga. In this place, we find Black Bear, Snow Leopard, many species of birds and more than 2000 different species of plants. We follow many waterfalls, rivers, forests of rhododendron and obviously stunning landscapes. This area is a new destination for tourists and special permit is required to trek. The maximum elevation of the trek is 5140m, which is the Base Camp of Kanchenjunga.
