Kathmandu valley hiking is one of the family trips. In this trek, we round the Kathmandu valley. In this trek, we see the Ganesh Himalaya range, Langtang Himalayan range, This trek is very gentle smooth and normal trek. In this trek, we walk approximately 6 to 7 hours. In this trek we see the too many local people like Newar, Chetri, Brahaman, Tamang, etc. and their culture local activities daily routing like farming, living style etc.

Short Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal (1400m)

Day 2: Trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot (2,195m)

Day 3: Trek from Nagarkot to Changunarayan


Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal (1400m)

Drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal (1400m) by car approximately one to one hour. We start the trek from Sundarijal to Chisapani (2140m) following the small local villages’ jungle Chisapani River in this day we walk some time up and sometimes forest and flat land escape.  And overnight in Chasapani, In guesthouse.

Day 2: Trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot (2,195m)

In this day we trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot (2,195m) approximately we walk 7 to 8 hours. The starting point is flat so we walk gently 45 minutes. After that, we walk approximately one hour down and gradually walk nearly 3 hours and again one and half hour gradually up and after that, we reach in the Nagarkot the viewpoint of the sunset, sunrise and too many Himalaya range. Overnight in guest house or hotel

Day 3: trek from Nagarkot to Changunarayan

Along with the sunrise in this day we trek from Nagarkot to Changunarayan approximately 4 hours which is one of the historical, cultural and world heritage palaces, drive from Changunarayan to Bode village nearly half hour, in this place we see the Newari lifestyle. their daily activities, farming living style etc.  in this area we did not see any tourist, or if you want to go Bhaktapur from Changunarayan approximately 45 minutes by car and sightseeing in the Durbar square area, and drive to Kathmandu approximately 1and half hours.
