The Annapurna Base camp is one of the renowned trekking routes of Nepal. It’s a beautiful glacier like a stadium fenced by a circle of High peaks like Annapurna I (8091m, 26545ft), Ganagapurna (7455m, 24457ft), Annapurna II (7937m 26985ft.) Annapurna III (7555m, 24786ft), Tilicho Peak (7134m, 24255.6ft) and many others. The magnificent sunrise view from Poon Hill (3210m) shines on the whole Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range. The main habited of the region are Magar, Gurung, Chhetri with various other castes. You can witness the biggest Hindu Festivals like Dashain, Tihar, Teej, New year and many others. You’ll come across beautiful villages of Ghandruk, waterfalls, Forests, suspended bridges, and landscapes. The kind-hearted people here are always ready to welcome with gratitude.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Our representative will receive you at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu and will transfer you to the hotel. If you are fresh enough and not tired by a journey, you can take a short walk over Thamel and enjoy the evening. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing
Our tour and trekking plan begins from today! We explore Kathmandu areas with experienced English speaking guide. Primarily, there are four touring destinations in Kathmandu such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath temple, Swoyambhunath stupa (Monkey temple) and Boudhanath stupa. These places are also UNESCO listed World Heritage Site. On this day, Adventure Challange Centre will introduce you with your trekking guide and he will brief you about trekking. Similarly, you can experience the nightlife of Kathmandu and enjoy a local meal. Overnight in a hotel. There will be a Pre-trip discussion with your mountain climbing Sherpa guides for good preparation of the trek.
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara
After having breakfast, we leave Kathmandu and travel to Pokhara. We will travel in a private vehicle or a tourist bus. It is a beautiful trip of around six or seven hours where you will enjoy the countryside of Nepal. You will go through a Trishuli River. The view of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) mountain before entering Pokhara will make your trip worthy. We will reach Pokhara at noon which is also known as a city of Lakes. Boating and lake sight visiting is one of the attractions of Pokhara. You can also visit Davis Fall in Pokhara. You will spend a night at a hotel in Pokhara.
Day 04: Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Tikhedhunga
After having breakfast in the morning, we leave Pokhara for Nayapul. We will travel in a private vehicle or a taxi. It is a beautiful ride of around 1 and half hours where you will enjoy the countryside of Nepal. The view of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) mountain before entering Nayapul will make your trip worthy. It is the starting point of our Tikhedhunga Trekking. Tikhedhunga is our destination and today where we will be spending a night. A 15 minutes’ walk along the bank of Modi Khola (river) will take us to Birethanti. There are many tea shops and teahouses here. Furthermore, we follow the north bank course of Burundi khola A gradually steady stair climb will take us to Hille and Tikhedhunga is a short climb around 5 hours from here.
Day 05: Tikhedunga – Ghorepani
Our trail begins after breakfast and Ulleri is our first destination today. Located at an altitude of 2,070 m Ulleri is a village with the majority of Magar people. They are one of the indigenous people of Nepal. We move upward to reach Banthanti. Crossing beautiful forests of oak and rhododendron we arrive at Nangethanti. An hour walk further will take us to Ghorepani where we will accommodate today. In past days, Ghorepani used to be a trade route place where people used to take their horse for water. The literal meaning off ‘Ghore’ is Horse and ‘Pani’ refers to water.
Day 06: Ghorepani – Poon Hill – Tadapani
We wake up early in the morning and walk an hour to reach Poon Hill. It is a worldwide renowned hill station popular for sunrise/sunset view. Besides, to experience the clear and unobstructed beauty of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri, it is a right destination. It is a place where you find yourself above clouds. We will spend around an hour here. We return to Ghorepani for breakfast. Now we ascend and pass through pine and rhododendron forests to be at Deurali. Banthanti is our next on the way stop. We finally reach Tadapani where we will halt for the night.
Day 07: Tadapani to Chomorung/Sinuwa
It is a steep downhill walk today. We cross forests to reach Gurjung. It is a place where Gurung people live. Gurjung to Chomrung is an easy walk. The sanctuary Valley begins from Chomrung. Sinuwa has located a bit away from Chomrung where we will halt tonight.
Day 08: Sinuwa to Himalaya or Deurali
Bamboo is our next on the way destination from Sinuwa. We cross dense bamboo forest to be here. We further ascend through a bamboo forest and cross Doban to reach Himalaya Hotel. We walk a bit more to reach Deurali where we will stay for a night.
Day 09: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp
Today is a much-awaited walk of our life. We climb through ‘Hidden Valley’ and reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp and take rest for some period of time. Machhapuchhre Base Camp is not a base camp in reality because the government of Nepal has not given a climbing permit for Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) mountain. It is just named as a base camp. Annapurna Base Camp is around two hours away from Machhapuchhre Base Camp. Annapurna Base Camp is at an altitude of 4,130m from sea level.
Day 10: Explore Hidden Valley and back to Bamboo
Today we explore the Hidden Valley and the glaciers. You are in such place that is surrounded by mountain from all sides. View of snowcapped peaks and the clear beautiful sky will make you feel good. Bamboo is our last destination for today. We walk for some time to be there where we will spend a beautiful night.
Day 11: Trek to Jhinu Dada
Our trail today begins by climbing up. We head towards Kuldighar and from here we descend to arrive at Chomrung. We further descend to be at Jhinu Dada where we rest for the night.
Day 12: Jhinu Dada to Birethanti and drive to Pokhara
A trail to Birethanti is very simple and easy. We follow a downhill course along Modi Khola to reach Nayapul. Here we have lunch. From here we head towards Birethanti. Here we catch vehicle and drive to Pokhara. You will have some time to enjoy Pokhara. Lake sidewalk will make your trip really beautiful. Boating in Phewa Lake is equally nice. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 13: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu
Today, early in the morning after breakfast we will drive back to Kathmandu. We will follow the same route as we took before. You will enjoy the evening with the staff of Adventure Challenge Center as the company will offer you farewell dinner for the successfully accomplishing the trip.
Day 14: Back to your destination
Here we are at the end of Ghorepani Poon Hill Trekking today. Our representative will drop you to the airport three hours before a scheduled flight to your onward destination. See you again!!
