Itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu –Rasuwa Gadi –Kyirong (2790m)157km8-9hrsEarly morning drive to Rasuea gadi, drive will take about 6 to 7 hrs to reach Tingri. Drive  offer beautiful view of terraced fields, river and rustic villages of Nepal before we enter Langtang National park Area.From there further  1 hour drive to Rasuwagadi through narrow and zig zag road.Afer immigration formality of Nepal we take short drive and walk  through the bridge before we do entry formality of Tibet where you will meet guide from Tibet side .After entry formality drive about 24 km around 1 hour Drive to Kyirong where we end the  journey of the day O/N Guest house BB

Day 02: Kyirong- Tingri (4300m)323km,7-8 hrs. Early morning after breakfast drive about 7-8 hrs hrs to reach Tingri. Drive offer beautiful view of Mountain, Lake and small village of Tibet.On the way to Tingri we may catch a glimpse of the majestic Mt .Everest and other peaks over 8000m such as Mt. Shisapangma, Mt .Cho Oyu.Today, the difference in landscape is quite special-the barren rugged land scape of Tibet to the mighty Himalayas.O/N Guest House BB

Day 03: Tingri-Shigatse(3900m) 235km 4-5 hrs Today we drive 235 km which takes  about 4/5hrs to reach Shigatse. We will take lunch in Lhatse which is about 150 km away.Then after a few hour drives  along beautiful rivers we finally reach our destination Shigatse the place of the famous Tashilhunpo Monastery,the seat of Panchen Lama. Day 04:Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery-Gyantse (3975m) 2 hrs-After breakfast,visit Tashilhunpu Monastery. The monastery is the traditional seat of successive,the second highest ranking lineage in the tradition .After sightseeing we drive to Gyantse which will take around 2 hours of driving .O/N Hotel BB

 

Day 05: Gyantes-Lhasa (3490m) 6-7 hrs Today you will have a sightseeing tour to the Khubum Stupa is an architectural Masterpiece built in the style of  108-sided Mandala.It is the most reserved stupa in Tibet and houses 112 chapels of which only 23 are open to the public. After the sightseeing we will have a 6-7 hrs drive to Lhasa crossing the karola pass (4794m).The karola pass climbs between two lofty mountains, Nozing  Khangsa (7223m)and Raljung (6236m) while driving you will see the Yamdrok Tso (Turquoise Lake )which takes approx. 1 hous to cross around.After passing Kampala,Lhasa Valley is seen to the north.You will also cross the Brahmaputra River.Reaching Lhasa and check in Hotel.O/N Hotel   BB

Day 0 6 -07: Sightseeing Tour Lhasa-These two days you will be engrossed with sightseeing and excursion of Lhasa including Potala palace, jokhang Temple,Barkhor Market, Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery.O/N Hotel  BB

Day 08: Lhasa –kathmandu OR to Main Land China
